Lonestar LS-838 Fingerprint Time and Attendance System is an outstanding value in the biometric time clock market. This powerful terminal comes complete with a comprehensive set of workforce management data collection tools. The LS-836’s ability to accurately capture and process data will enable you to streamline payroll management like never before. Utilizing state of the art biometric technology your employees will be able to record their punches instantaneously with industry leading accuracy.

The LS-838 consists of two parts: the fingerprint terminal and the fingerprint time & attendance management software. The terminal is a stand-alone fingerprint reader, fingerprinting the daily recording of employee’s arrival and departure times. And the software is designed to read attendance log of the terminal, to calculate worked hours, and to generate various kind of statistical reports. In theory, our software does not set a limit on the number of users. We welcome the company with more than 1,000 employees to try it out. We argue our software is the simplest one to use in the time clock market.

There are four modes for the communication between the terminal and the software: RS232, RS485, TCP/IP and USB drive. What is unique with the LS-838 is its USB flash drive download function. You can download data from the terminal to the computer with a USB flash drive, which makes the terminal truly "standalone."

Our engineering team has designed the LS-838 to be the easiest stand alone system to install in the market. By including the option of USB flash download, the LS-838 can now be mounted anywhere without any hardwiring costs or installation time – all that is needed is a power outlet!

Comparison LS-838 Some Competitors
